Los Angeles County, California is home to some of the best beach cities you’ll ever visit. Redondo Beach is the king of those beach cities. You can often see fishermen trying for today’s fresh catch, and the shape of the pier aids in the search for the perfect bite. The Pier is not far south from LAX, so travelers often find themselves taking in the activity and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
In the summers, the Pier offers free concerts, free yoga classes, and happy hour specials that entice tourists and locals to mingle and spend time socializing in South Redondo Beach. Seasonally, there is also whale watching, kayaking, and other water activities.
A fledgling cultural scene brings community theatre, dance troupes, and music to the city. Surfers and volleyball players can be found everywhere in South Redondo Beach.
